Our COVID Safety Response

Our community has been through a lot over this past year. While many things have changed, one thing remains the same, our commitment to our patients and their safety. 

Infection control is a priority in our Hearing Health practice. These are just some of the ways we will be safely moving forward both for our protection and the protection of our patients. 

  1. We will see patients by appointment only, our office door remains locked. You are asked to remain in your vehicle and call us when you arrive. You will have been asked some screening questions the day before and again on visit day. 
  2. Patient temperatures will be taken by staff using a digital forehead thermometer before entering the office. 
  3. Patients may have one family member with them. They will be asked to have their temperature taken as well. Properly worn face masks will be worn by both at all time while inside our office, including to use restroom. 
  4. We have hand sanitizer we ask you to use at the door.
  5. Our appointments are managed so only one person is in our waiting room at a time, allowing for our new disinfection protocols between patient visits. Magazines are no longer in our waiting room since they are difficult to disinfect. 
  6. All surfaces in the waiting room, exam/testing room and rest room are disinfected between every use. 
  7. The staff are temperature checked daily. We practice strict protocols in our personal lives with mask wearing and social distancing, as well as wearing protective equipment while caring for our patients in the office setting. 
  8. We sanitize our room air between patients as well.
